Sorry for the inactivity. I have no excuse: I have not been busting my hind-quarters off trying to bring in swarms of potential members. However, that does not mean we are completely inactive! Here is a list of a few of the things that have changed on Imperial Nerds:
I have upgraded the forums from SMF 1.1.8 to 1.1.9. Not an enormous change, but it's always good to stay up to date, eh?
After a month of neglect, I've just finally backed up the forum database, such that if anything were to happen, you can remain worry-free. The entirety of your 75 total posts will still be here. (I actually saw that we had 75 posts and was moderately surprised. I hope to look back upon this post in the future and be raucously amused at the concept of thinking 75 posts is a lot.)
Here by popular demand (like two of you) and from a lot of pestering (read: emotionally-traumatizing verbal abuse), I have finally added a single off-topic, general discussion board, as you can see at the topic of the Imperial Nerdery category:
Internet Forum! I was vaguely disappointed that we will be unable to have a general discussion board in every section, but I figure more people will be able connect to Imperial Nerds with a single, easy to find waypoint. Also, all of the general discussion boards in each section now redirect to the main general discussion forum.
I have decided to mark the topic title of all announcements with the date, so that when there are many, you can tell the relevancy. That's pretty useful, right?
That's all for now. I promise to work on getting more activity in the near future. I have a few things planned for the site, so expect some big things. Until next time, nerds.
